Wavelength AR for Orlando Science Center

WHEN YOUNG PATIENTS FIGHT DISEASE in a children’s hospital, it often means weeks or months of missing out on school. So Orlando Science Center called on us to help build an augmented reality (AR) STEM program that brings the vast reaches of the universe right to the hospital bed.

Pacific Science Center Augmented Reality

The Pacific Science Center in Seattle wanted to breathe new life into an old exhibit. Stage 2 built a tablet-based AR experience that overlays virtual 3D content on a real world scene. The result was a cost-effective update to an existing exhibit, attracting new visitors after a relatively short development period.

New Burke Museum VR Preview at Annual Curators Dinner

Opening in 2019, a new $100 million facility will become the home of the state museum of Washington. The building is now complete, but the collection of 16 million artifacts has not yet moved in. Stage 2 staff built a VR experience for the new Burke, captivating donors with a sense of scale in the new space including a lifelike model of a massive Columbian Mammoth.

Lifeless Planet

A little science, a little fiction… a lot of fun! Stage 2 developed and published the video game Lifeless Planet, now a hot-selling indie title on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. This sci-fi game promotes interest in space exploration and science, and is also available on Steam, the #1 PC/Mac game platform.

Let’s Build Something Amazing
